How To: DIY diagram of tapping a Sugar Maple Tree

I want to do this next year….there HAS to be some sugar maples around our place somewhere….

i hope someone will correct me if i’m wrong, but you can tap other maples though you won’t get as much sap as a sugar maple is my understanding. we have done it with a large silver maple on our old property
